ALL MY RELATIONS
Standing Rock was a movement led by the Great Sioux Nation, along with over 400 Indigenous nations and allies, in North Dakota. It opposed the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL), which threatened the water source of thousands of people and violated sacred land, treaty territory, and Indigenous sovereignty.
The main camp, Oceti Sakowin, was established on Army Corps of Engineers property, near the Cannon Ball River. The occupation drew thousands of people who stood in solidarity to defend water and Indigenous rights.

All My Relations & Indian Winter are short documentary films on Standing Rock produced in collaboration with The Native & the Refugee. They look into the cosmology and recent warrior culture. September and November of 2016.
